HOMEMADE ITALIAN PIZZA RECIPE


Pizza Time!! Round, square or rectangular?

It seems tiring to prepare the pizza dough, but in reality making it at home you will discover a whole new taste and great satisfaction.

There are an immense variety of recipes for making pizza dough.

For those who do not have time, the fastest thing is to buy the ready-made pizza dough, although I can assure you that it will not be the same.




Ingredients for the dough:

- Flour 00 (500 gr)

- Water (250 ml)

- Cube of yeast; (1)

- Olive oil (1 tbsp)

- Salt (1 tbsp)

- Sugar (1/2 tbsp)












Preparation:


- Put the water in a bowl (it must be lukewarm) and break up the yeast inside.


- Add the sugar and extra virgin olive oil.


- Add the salt and little by little add the flour, mix very well to obtain a homogeneous mixture.


- Form a ball and place it in a bowl covered with a cloth or film in a warm place (for example in the oven, but off) and let it rise until the dough has doubled in volume (at least 2 hours)


- Remove the dough from the bowl and spread it on a work surface covered with parchment paper, flattening it with your hands.


- Leave to rise for another half hour / one hour.


- In the meantime, prepare all the ingredients necessary to season the pizza.


Ingredients for the dressing:


- Tomato sauce

- Oriano

- Mozzarella cheese


// You can obviously add all the ingredients you like most and also create unique combinations //


Final preparation:


- Turn on the oven at 180 degrees.


- Spread the dough with tomato sauce after adding a tablespoon of olive oil and a sprinkling of oregano.


- Bake for about ten minutes.


- Cut the mozzarella, put it in a bowl and add two tablespoons of sauce (this procedure is used to prevent the mozzarella from burning and making it beautifully stringy)


- Remove the pizza from the oven and add the diced mozzarella and the rest of the ingredients you have chosen.


- Place the pizza on the top shelf of the oven and cook for another 5 minutes until the mozzarella is melted and stringy.
